Today we will be taking a virtual tour the Kickstarter headquarters. Kickstarter recently moved from the lower east side to a new location in Brooklyn. The space used to be a pencil factory located in Brooklyn. The new campus is 29,000 square feet.  This phase includes a green roof, theater, library, and open office space. The design of the space was done by Ole Sondresen Architecture.

Virtual Tour of Kickstarter Headquarters

We have compiled photos of the new space. Through these photos, you can take a virtual tour of okay starter beautiful workspace. It’s one of the reasons that so many people look to work for Kickstarter.

Kitchen Bar area

Kickstarter has a few great areas for eating. They have both a large kitchen bar area and the diner area. Further in the post we feature the kichen space. The following photos show a large wooden dinner table. The background features the bar and kitch area. In the back of the photo you can see large vertical open wooden beams.

This beautiful conference room at Kickstarter opens up to a patio. It is accompanied by adirondack chairs that catch sunlight in the late afternoon. The top of the photo shows vertical slats that let light through to the patio.

View from the rooftop looking towards downtown Manhattan

The view from the roof looks out toward downtown Manhattan. The green space provides an oasis for workers looking to take a break. It’s a great place to catch a sunset.

Outside patio balcony

This other patio is long and features a stone walkway. This nighttime shot shows the large open office space and glass walls. Perfectly juxtaposed to the industrial origins of the building. The large windows allow natural light into the workspace. Screen Shot 2016-07-08 at 3.50.46 PM

Kickstarter’s headquarters are housed in an old industrial building. This photo shows the beautiful old brick work of the building. You can also see a small seating area in the foreground.

Cold Brew On Tap

Kickstarter offers its employees complimentary cold brew coffee on tap. A nice cold cup of cold brew is sure to keep you going on hot summer afternoon day. In this photo, you can also see other items of the menu. All items are complimentary to employees.

Rooftop garden

The rooftop garden maybe one of our favorite spaces in the Kickstarter offices. It provides a view of downtown New York City. The garden itself is filled with many species of plants. You can easily get lost in the tranquil space or grab a beer with a co-worker.

Library at Kickstarter office

From library space in the office is one of the most photographed areas. The walls are lined with floor to ceiling bookshelves filled with books. The rooms is also adorned with comfortable furniture for reading a book or answering an email.

Kickstarter Diner Space

The diner space is built to look like an old-school diner. It’s a great place to sit with coworkers while you take lunch. One of the most impressive parts of the office space is how different and unique each area is. This allows you to choose a space with an atmosphere that fits your mood.

In addition to a beautiful office starter also offers 25 vacation days, four months of parental leave, stipends for biking to work, great health benefits, and a myriad of events. At the time of publication the Kickstarter team was 320 people, all based in Brooklyn.
